What about this job or organization are you most passionate about?
At AMETEK STC there are very well defined responsibilities, and still a lot of freedom to define and structure your own daily tasks within the processes and customer demands.  
What does a typical day look like for you?
We are a small customer service department, and every morning we shortly gather to structure and prioritize the expected tasks of the day. Then we enter the incoming orders in our ERP system, book the transport for finished orders, control that expected lead times for the open orders are still met, answer customer enquiries of various kinds, and make sure the invoices for the day are created and sent to the customers. This is always sent along with shipment information, so the customers would know when they can expect their instruments etc. to be delivered. There might also be a few meetings or administration tasks e.g. with processes and task flows.

What is the work environment like?
People are very passionate about their working area, and this is very inspiring. In AMETEK STC there is a motivating mixture of deep use of knowledge, hectic deadlines to be reached, and a common feeling wanting to succeed throughout the organization.

What advice would you give to a new employee?
