Operations Director 
What does your job entail?
My responsibility as the Operations Director is to oversee the materials to support our business to ensure that our operations will always have an adequate flow of the materials when they need it. I also look for opportunities to help reduce cost on materials to ensure the organization remains profitable.
What is the best part of your job?
The best part about my job is that not two days are the same because each day brings new challenges and rewards to address. Often, time flies by because I am involved in a project and seeing that project to the end is very rewarding.

What about this job or organization are you most passionate about?
I am passionate about my role within the organization because I get to be a part of many different departments and I get to help them achieve their goals.
Did you start at this position with AMETEK STC or have your position changed over time?
When I first started with Ametek STC I was an Inventory Planning Manager for our Distribution Center. As time went on within that role I acquired other responsibilities within the organization. Now I have the pleasure of being the Materials Manager where I have the challenge of ensuring we have the right materials at the right time.
What accomplishment are you most proud of?
One of my accomplishments that I am most proud of is right sizing our inventory without impacting our customers or manufacturing.
What advice would you give to a new employee?
In any roles within Ametek you will be wearing many hats so, avoid thinking “it’s not my job” as there are opportunities as long as you apply yourself.
