What does your job entail?
My job involves supporting customers with technical product information and helping them to find the most appropriate products for their applications. This is either through emails or phone calls.  In addition to responding to requests for quotes it also involves problem-solving and troubleshooting customer issues that might be related to product performance. 
What is the best part about your job?
There is always something new to learn and each day can bring a difference challenge.  There is a feeling of satisfaction when you can successfully use your knowledge and skills to solve some of the more difficult problems.

Did you start at this position with AMETEK STC or has your position changed over time?
My Career at AMETEK started in the Customer Service Department but because of my supporting background and available opportunities moved into an Applications Position within a few months.
What advice would you give to a new employee?
Do not be afraid to take on the difficult challenges, you usually end up learning a lot and then much of what follows seems easier.  Do not hesitate to ask questions and do as much independent research as possible to learn about the job aspects that you don’t understand.
