What does your job entail?
Being a buyer for Ametek means wearing many different hats. I get to work with a variety of departments, such as our international team to source items from all over the world, Engineering to resolve quality issues and new product introductions, and the entire operations team to make sure we are getting the right mix and flow of products into inventory. 

What is the best part about your job?
The best part of my job is that I get to interact will all levels of the organization across multiple sites. I’ve gotten the opportunity to learn about all sides of the business and be a part of different teams to achieve mutual goals.

Did you start at this position with AMETEK STC or has your position changed over time?
I was initially hired as part of a company initiative to move numerous items to a new manufacturing location. Now, I help with day-to-day operations at my site along with assisting engineering with new product introductions.  
What is the work environment like at AMETEK STC ?
